Through initiatives such as entrepreneurship support, access to credit, and financial literacy programs, to enable them to create sustainable livelihoods. Promote inclusive economic growth strategies that reduce inequality and create opportunities for all segments of the workforce to participate and benefit from economic development
Building and strengthening institutional capacity
Establishing transparent and accountable governance structures within the union to ensure efficient decision- making and resource allocation. Investing in trainings for union leaders and staff to enhance their leadership skills, knowledge off labour laws, negotiation tactics and organisation management tactics including resource mobilisation and building partnerships and alliances.
Improving information management
Establishing systems for collecting accurate and relevant data, organizing and storing collected data efficiently, facilitating the sharing of information among members, conducting research and data analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities relevant to the union.
Empowerment and mainstreaming gender, youth and workers with disabilities.
Prioritising initiatives to promote gender equality within the unions, equal representation in leadership, and addressing gender-based discrimination. Creating opportunities for youth participation and leadership within the unions, advocating for the rights of workers with disability, including reasonable accommodations in the workplace.
